Representatives from the Judiciary of the United States approved recently a draft of a law designed to prohibit any kind of online game that includes money gambling. The law is known as “Law of Gambling prohibition on Internet”.
It was introduced by the Virginian senator Bob Goodlatte, who expects to contribute with the previous law 1961 for online gambling. If the law is approved, games such as blackjack, poker and roulette will be prohibited under a federal law.
Goodlatte’s law project also proposes to do everything possible through agreements to stop any financial transaction made via internet.
Although there is still a long way to go for the law to get approved, alongside the American Gaming Association, a studio will start a study about the potential impact that legal gambling might have, as a way to counteract the approval of the law.
