To most of us, a night out in town results in fewer pounds in our pockets; to a very small percentage, it results in getting home with quite more than spare change. This happened to the English supermodel Kate Moss, who was seen walking out of a casino with winnings of about £50, 000, made by playing roulette. She was accompanied by her friend, Sir Philip Green.
They were both spotted outside the Aspinalls casino in Mayfair as they were leaving, Moss holding on to a thick chunk of pounds in an envelope. Supposedly, the 34-year-old model was playing blackjack and then moved on to roulette.
As reported from the Daily Express, a casino worker said: “Kate didn’t let the excitement get to her and as soon as she hit her winning streak, she sensibly called it a day. She had five packets of notes in the envelope, which could be as much as £50, 000 winnings in total.
Kate was enjoying a night out in town with Sir Philip, celebrating the launch of her fifth Topshop clothing line. This fairytale news helps to remind us that we must never forget that luck may come our way, even when we least expect it or need it to.
